Drew’s mobile makerspaces play an essential role in fully integrating STEAM into core classes and Project-Based Learning initiatives. Each cart focuses on a specific strand of making—from construction to electronics to 3D printing to arts and crafts—and provides the tools and materials students need to experience STEAM with their own hands.
The versatility and accessibility of these STEAM trunks make it possible to transform any academic space—a core class, an enrichment class, the media center—into a dynamic, exploratory environment that challenges students to think critically and creatively, try their ideas, make connections, collaborate with others and find inspiration. |

Thanks to our friends at Radio Shack, this trunk is fully equipped to introduce students to skills such as soldering, wiring, prototyping, manufacturing and electric circuit design.
