From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, Maker Faire is a venue for these "makers" to show hobbies, experiments, projects. Drew always has a presence--showing off our skills and projects. |

Virtual Maker Night: TBA Virtual Maker Night: TBA Maker Nights happen several times a year and are a great way for your family to enjoy an evening of making together. The Makerspace will supply the materials, tools, and the know-how. It is a great way to learn about all Drew has to offer in the Makerspace. |

STEAM CAREER DAY
JA/SA STEAM Career Day: Fri. October 25, 2024 EA STEAM Career Day: Fri. November 1, 2024 The goal of Drew's STEAM Career Days is to expose PreK-12 students to the many careers related to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) fields. Presenters have the opportunity to share their best career advice and inspire the next generation of engineers, artists, researchers, entrepreneurs and innovators. Although we are excited to have all presenters, we recognize that representation is critical and are seeking to engage diverse presenters that may be underrepresented in their current fields. |

Lantern Parade
Thursday November 16 2023 In the past Drew had participated in Lantern Parades in other neighborhoods. For the past several years we have opted to host our own event. Participants made their own lanterns in class and during Maker Nights in Drew's Makerspace. The East Lake Lantern Parade is a fun way to build community pride. |

Drew's Got TalentTime, Date, and Location TBD
Drew's Got Talent, is going virtual! Students will be able to showcase their many talents in the first virtual talent show at Drew. Participants will be able to video record their performances and submit them for review. This talent show will be live-streamed for families and friends to see. Friday March 22, 2024 STEAM Day, the annual lead-up to DESIGNORAMA, brings together all Drew students to dive deeper into STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) with fun, interactive activities, experiments, performances and games. |

Saturday March 23, 2024 Drew Charter School is proud to be a part of the 2022 Atlanta Science Festival! Join us at our Elementary Academy as we show off excellent student work and how education and STEAM are intertwined. Our PBL showcase showing the work of our K- 5th grade students will be held at the same time. |
