NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE NEXT COHORT OF
MAKER SCHOLARS + MENTORS!
ABOUT THE MAKER SCHOLARS PROGRAMDrew Charter School sponsors scholarships for students in 4th through 8th grade plus adult mentors to join Decatur Makers, an all-ages community makerspace located minutes from the school.
These Maker Scholars are part of a vibrant community of makers who work together to design and create interesting things. This scholarship offers students the space, resources and guidance to allow their creativity and curiosity to flourish. Our goal is for these students to bring their newfound knowledge, skills and understanding of makerspace culture back to Drew’s own makerspaces. |
Please note that applications for the next cohort of Maker Scholars and Mentors are considered on a first come, first served basis. The number of these grant-funded scholarships is limited.
MAKER SCHOLARS BLOG
