A Once in A Lifetime Phenomenon
It's been a whopping 99 years since a solar eclipse passed completely over the United States; Drew students were able to witness the event first hand. To better understand what happens during a solar eclipse, students designed and constructed models that explained the orientations of the Earth, Moon and Sun during the eclipse. The 6th graders also created their very own safety video to ensure that others had the best possible eclipse-viewing experience.
