Process
BEFORE BEGINNING EXPERIMENTS
- Register for Science Fair at the School Level - Drew's Got Talent: Science Edition
- Create a Research Plan. Detailed information from APS can be found here, and an example from Drew can be found here. (note: this will help you complete the Research Paper which will be completed after experimentation)
- Upload your Research Plan here.
- Once it has been approved, you will be fully registered for Drew's Got Talent: Science Edition, and you may begin experimentation. Wait for approval before you begin your experiments.
ONCE APPROVAL HAS BEEN GIVEN FOR EXPERIMENTATION
- Use your Logbook to write down all experiment notes, observations, measurable data, diagrams, and photos. Sample Logbook here. More information is better!! A Logbook template can be found here.
- Use your Research Plan to begin your Research Paper. Example is provided here.
- Use the information from your Logbook, Research Plan, and Research Paper to create a Google Slide Presentation. Include more diagrams and photos and prepare to talk about them as a presentation.
- Practice your presentation. No poster or Science Fair board needed at this time.
